Policies

When scheduling an appointment, the booked time is our goal.
However, please allow for a 2 hour window for arrival when booking as working with animals (and traffic) can be unpredictable. If groomer is running ahead or behind, we will contact you as a courtesy.
-
Things happen, but you have to communicate!
Cancellations and reschedules within 48 hours of appointment time will result in loss of deposit or a $25 charge to the card on file.
No-shows will result in a charge to the card on file for the full service price, groomer will only wait for 15 minutes at the address before marking as a no-show and continuing on the route.
Repeated incidents of no-shows or cancellations may result in me no longer being able to prebook appointments or a referral out.
-
Please give us as much notice as possible. Since we operate on a prebooked schedule, please be aware there may not be availability before your next regular appointment. Try to let us know about any conflicts as soon as we book.

Dogs under 16 weeks: Must have 2 rounds of Bordetella and Parvo (DHPP) Vaccines
Dogs over 16 weeks: Must have current proof of Rabies Vaccine presented on paper or virtual veterinarian letterhead.
Senior Pets: If your dog’s veterinarian feels they are too old to receive additional vaccinations, we must get a letter from them stating so and clearing them for grooming.
Puppies should have the first two rounds of Bordetella and Parvo vaccines because the extreme risk to their health if they are exposed. The Rabies Vaccine is required by federal law and is necessary for the safety of your pet and the groomers. Records should also be available in case of a bite incident to prevent owner liability. Due to these reasons, we are not flexible on these policies.
-
ALL pets deserve compassionate grooming care, even those that are overly-excited, nervous, aggressive, etc. Accommodations such as slings, muzzles, positive reinforcement, and more are in a groomer’s toolbelt to handle these cases. However, if the groomer feels at any point that it is unsafe for the pet or themselves, service will be aborted and parents will only pay for services completed. Recommendations will be made for calming aids or grooming supervised by a veterinarian at that point.
-
ALL pets deserve compassionate grooming care, even those with health concerns.
Please note any and all health concerns, recent vet visits, recent injuries, odd behavior, medications, etc. on the appointment request form. Even something that seems minor could impact grooming and should be noted. We may consult your pet’s veterinarian to insure safety.
If the groomer feels it is unsafe to continue service for any reason, service will be aborted and we will only charge for completed services if any. At this point, we will make recommendations for future grooms.
We will not accept pets with some health concerns at the time of grooming, such as pregnancy, open wounds, and untreated severe issues due to risk to the pet.
-
While it is understood the groomer will exercise caution during the grooming process, be aware that pets can move suddenly around sharp objects and that my pet may be cut. In the unlikely event that an incident should occur, my pet may require veterinary care.
Pet parent will be contacted in the event of any injury to discuss next steps. If contact cannot be made, groomer may seek veterinary care at their discretion.
-
We accept payment in the form of Cash, Card, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is due no later than completion of the service.
